Just the usual night of sh*t officiating in the Champion's League.

add those to the wrongly-disallowed goal in the first leg. watch City get a red card in the second half now, and everyone will be screaming blue murder about refs favouring Barca.
    here we go...

He's been utterly dreadful. How all of the 32 officials on the pitch missed both penalty decisions is beyond me.

What exactly is the point of Platini's baton wavers

The ref has made some shocking decisions against both sides.

Barca really need to ditch Pique.

Yeah the guys behind the goal never appear to actually do anything.

What is the point of the referees assistants with batons?!
Aren't they there to help officiate what goes on in the box?!
    Utterly dreadful refereeing!
Kompany's foul against Neymar was also comical!

You have to ask the question why did City simply defend in the 1st leg. They basically retreated and tried to play out a 0-0.

    Why do that @ home?

Platini's baton wavers have made no difference. Quite frequently, they're in great positions but NEVER attempt to over-rule the referee. Or miss the offence altogether.

Last time I saw one overrule the referee was in the Europa League when the idea was being trialed.

Fulham conceeded a penalty and lost a man due to the decision by the baton man.

He was wrong! And he got the wrong man sent off!

You do realise you don't have to see them do anything, the batons have buzzers to alert the ref and they are mic'd up so they can talk to the ref.

Chelsea can go far -- I think they'll give Barca and/or Bayern a game, but probably come up short against Real.

Deserved win for Barca. Better side over the two legs.

PSG made it through 6-1 on aggregate after a 2-1 win over Leverkusen, so we've got:

    Atletico
    Bayern
    PSG
    Barcelona

into the last 8 so far, with Real Madrid and Dortmund in very strong positions in their ties. I wonder if United and Chelsea can get through to make for some high-quality quarter-finals.

Kompany was quality tonight. For some reason he's been getting way more flack than he should be lately, brilliant defender.
