    My 'discoveries' this year.

    Mythbusters (Fabulous)
Dr Who (For the very first time)
    Stargate sg1 (wow)
    The Amazing Race (the best)

    John

PS Just noticed how many fans of mythbusters there are, which is really good, as its not that well known and hidden away on one of the none mainstream channels. It really is a gem, if you've not seen it, it really is worth the effort.

    CSI
    CSI: Miami
    CSI: NY
    Law & Order
    L&O: SVU
    L&O: CI

I discovered one each of the two franchises (CSI and SVU) and then decided to watch the others as well. And now I'm pretty much addicted to them all! :p

Got into Alias when I noticed the first season available to rent in my local video store. Went out tand bought Series 2 and 3.
Like lots of people we found Mythbusters, but another great gem no one's mentioned yet - "How it's made". Quite simply watching how really mundane everyday objects are made - yet totally fascinating.

Oh, and we also found QI.

Love How Its Made, though it is a bit simplistic in places, would like to see a bit more detail. Loved the one on Lollipops, always wondered how they got the ice cream in the middle. :)

Mythbusters has to be one of the best dicoveries of the year. Two nerds doing nerdy things, fantastic.

Also (don't know if this will count) the new Battlestar Galactica. Absolutely fantastic series, best TV show to come out of America for ages.

Have caught House on odd occassions, but everytime it's kept me glued to the screen till the end.

Arrested Development (BBC may start showing it at a decent time when Ricky gevais guest stars)

I wouldn't hold my breath. He didn't really do any favours for Alias on British TV!

    My discoveries ..

CSI - Original, NY and Miami - all about 3 months ago.

Saw in the TV guide that Holly Valance was in CSI Miami and thought "hhhmm .. nothing else on so i'll see what she's up to".

Instantly hooked and through the power of the online DVD rental companies i've now watched the entire season 1 of CSI miami and first half of season 2. Also caught up on CSI:NY and have just finished watching season 1 of original CSI.

    Also discovered:

    House
    Grey's Anatomy
    Battlestar Galactica(2005 version)
    The Daily Show
    Extras

    Went off:

    Little Britain

    Extremely Dissapointed with:

Lost (after seeing the final episode..)
