Felix Dexter tribute show

Did anyone else catch last night's 30 minute tribute to Felix Dexter on BBC2?

He was a moderately talented performer but nothing out of the ordinary. Plenty of others, with far more impressive bodies of work, have not been deemed worthy of a tribute by Aunty.

If and when Lenny Henry pops his clogs will the Beeb clear its schedule for a News 24 special?

I appreciated it myself. He always made me laugh. Seemed like a real professional and was a part of some top end comedy shows. I personally thought it was fitting to commemorate him like they did.

i don't see what your issue is with this.

Already a topic on this, only a few posts down from this one.

Not sure what the problem is either. It was only a 30 min show, not an entire evening devoted to him. Some of us were interested enough in his work to watch.

For some of us younger folk, his performances in 'bellamys people' were stand outs, memorable and really funny. As a comedy fan, that deserves a mention.
