With Carol's storyline then a TEMPORARY return for Robbie would be nice, just a couple of episodes where we see him get tested and check in on his mum and family. Nothing major and no big dramas but very realistic for him to pay a visit during his mum's illness.

I would like to see Chrissie/Jake back for a temporary stint to cause chaos for Sharonand Id like to see Carly make an appearance now and again, have her come and meet the rest of the Carters or even come to visit Shirley and Dean. Just a mention to show she still exists!
The only characters I would love see back on a permanent basis would be Grant, Zainab and Jean.

I choose Grant (and Courntey) because it'll be great to see Grant back on the square, especially with Sharon living with Phil. Also Ben Mitchell, it will be great to see him upon his stint at prison.

Lynne Slater because it'll be nice for Kat to have more family, and I've always loved Lynne.

Joe Wicks, explore a different side to David.

Chrrise and Jake for obvious reasons! And Vicki to bring the Fowler family back! (I'd say Michelle but it's unlikely she's going to return to act)

I think it would be good to see Suzy Branning come back, even just for a short while. Her last stint was not handled very well and she only came into her own in her last few weeks. I would also be interested to see the relationship between Suzy and Carol, as they have never been seen on screen together (other than at a wedding years ago and only briefly) and Carol has never discussed Suzy. It would also be interesting to see how Suzy would cope with the Carol's cancer diagnosis and that she could potentially have the cancer gene. I also read that the actresses that play the two characters are best friends in real life and therefore it would be interesting to see how they act with one another.

I would also like to see the return of Belinda Peacock / Slater. Out of the Slaters she is the most undeveloped and has the most untapped potential. I read that the actress has had a lot of personal problems and therefore I feel that if the producers wanted to recast they could do so easily as the character only appeared minimally years ago. The return of Belinda could be interesting as her relationship with Kat could be explored, it would provide more Slaters and give Jessie the opportunity to interact with someone different.

A character that I feel should be brought into the show is Daphne Fox. Denise currently has few people to interact with, as Kim is not currently in the show and neither are her daughters. It would provide good material to explore why Daphne and Denise were not talking and could provide more of a backstory for Denise (e.g. her mum could also be involved in the feud). Daphne Fox has only appeared once for one episode and therefore the character is a completely blank sheet. With the right actress she could be an interesting character.
