Paranoid that my girlfriend could fall pregnant
My girlfriend is on the pill, but even then I've always been very wary.
She took the pill yesterday at around half 7 - quarter to 8 in the morning. She takes it everyday without fail.
We had sex this morning around half 8. She says I have nothing to worry about because she had done it in the past with an old partner when she wasn't even on the pill.
As it was half 8 when we had sex, is there a 24 hour window? I'm worried in that in that 25th hour or so after she had taken the pill, that dramatically increases her chances of falling pregnant. She took her pill straight after we had sex today in order to "put my worries at ease"...

Also no method is 100% just so you know, Wear a condom too if you want to be extra careful.
Combined pill , you can take it up to 12 hours late. Any later then you consider yourself unprotected, and use a condom.

as above posters have said, you should be fine. if you're that paranoid though, i'd think about using a condom as well, or looking into male contraceptive options!

But anyway er, yeah you'll be fine OP, it's not like the pill suddenly stops working at exactly 24 hours

My thoughts exactly. ..although I originally misread the thread title and thought that the op was paranoid that his pregnant girlfriend might fall ( as in fall over) and I clicked on it to reassure him that baby is well and truly safe in there cushioned by amniotic fluid! Ended up reading about a different fluid completely!
Actually, I've seen far worse on here.
