    I like this quote:
Dot faces the harsh reality about her son.

What harsh reality would that be then? She knows every wicked act that he's capable of. He's committed nearly every crime under the sun and she's taken him back every time.

Later, Lauren heads to Ian's stag party at The Vic. Ian innocently offers her an alcoholic drink, causing her to rush out as she is overwhelmed. At Max's office, Lauren tries to access Emma's phone again but has no luck. With everything getting on top of her, Lauren spots a bottle of whiskey in the office - but will she be tempted to drink it?

Meanwhile, Roxy is pleased when she visits Ronnie in hospital and her sister's pulse rate increases, but she is brought crashing back down to earth when the doctor explains that it doesn't mean anything. Roxy tells Charlie that the doctors will try to wake Ronnie up again next week but if she doesn't respond, there's nothing more they can do for her.

Elsewhere, it's the day of Phil's bail hearing and Sharon confidently warns Max that he will be back home soon. However, Phil deliberately gives Sharon the wrong time for his court appearance and goes missing upon his release. Where is he?

I know we already knew the writers, but Radio Times has now confirmed who is writing which episode.

Speaking of writers and episode numbers, I'm still not sure how we're going to get from 5020 on the 20th February to at least 5041 on 20th March. Pete Lawson says his next episode is on Friday 20th March, and that it's the same week as Sarah Phelps', which is episode 5040, but if the episodes were to air in their normal slots, apart from Comic Relief, the episode on 20th March would be 5035 (5036 if the episode taken off for Comic Relief is made up for.) So either we're getting extra episodes before then or Pete Lawson got the date wrong.

Later, Peggy heads off to Dot's house as planned, but she is stunned when she sees the state of Dot…

Meanwhile, it's the night of Ian and Jane's wedding. Lauren is in turmoil as she now knows details of what really happened to Lucy and wants the truth to come out. Taking matters into her own hands, Lauren leaves a wedding card with a message inside.

Ian and Jane's big day (or evening to be exact) has arrived and the couple prepare to marry each other for the second time. But the wedding is going to feel like the longest day of their - and our - lives, as it spans four nerve- jangling nights.

At first it's not the bride - to - be who's in the emotional state - it's Lauren.
With all she knows about what happened to her dead pal, she decides to leave a card for the happy couple with a very damning message inside.
Then she legs it in a cab before Max can quiz her about her strange behaviour.

Ian's pre wedding drinks at The Vic don't get off to a good start - he feels guilty about celebrating anything since losing his daughter. And there's more stress when Phil later wants a quiet word with the groom.

Jane is thrilled when brother Christian and best mate Tanya turns up, but her happiness is short lived when she reads the chilling note Lauren has left her. As Peter dashes out of the wedding to look for his girlfriend, Jane panics just as she is asked to say her vows...

In all the excitement I forgot I read something interesting in the TV Choice earlier, from the next week section of next week's issue -

"There are violent scenes at The Vic when Kat and Kim decide to escape the pressures of motherhood on a night out - but the real threat to them could come from outside the Square..."

I wonder what that's about, could it have anything to do with Richard Blackwood's character. Or maybe the start of whatever Kat's storyline is.
