I think the Apprentice started filming today! Here are a collection of pictures taken of the candidates filming, tweeted today:

And, judging by this tweet, the first task is something to do with flowers:

What I don't understand is that in one of those pics, five men can be seen on a sub-team... Perhaps they've increased the number of candidates?? Who knows :)

AGain, hard to tell who the candidates actually are.. There are five people who could all be candidates there... From seeing the two male subteams, all the males look quite similar!

I wonder if the blond one is a candidate?

It's weird how I've seen like ALL of the candidates now, yet the new series doesn't start for about 5 months

So there's coffee involved too... Sounds like an interesting task!

    Thanks. :)

I suppose it would be too much to dream of that this was a "smell what sells" task taken a bit too literally? :D:D

    I don't think they'd have a smell what sells task for Week 1 :)

So... I am getting excited already! :D

Is this year another investment series? I'm like an old fogey but I prefer when they were fighting for a J.O.B, in these tough economic times it would be nice if they did a series like the US one where they had people that lost their jobs in the recession to take part.

That would be interesting! But there's been no talk of the prize changing back to a job.

I don't think Lord Sugar would do it. The reason that he changed the prize is because he is now semi-retired, has sold quite a lot of his companies and it is more worthwhile for him to invest in a business proposition than to offer someone a job. If they wanted to change the prize back, they'd probably have to replace him with someone else, and I'm not sure it would work without Sugar.

Good point. It's a shame though. Maybe as a one off they could combine both and bring people whose businesses failed due to the economy and now have a cracking idea to start over and need the money, more than those with semi successful businesses wishing to go to the next level.

That's not a bad idea. Suggest it!

It's so hard to resist! :p

I haven't looked at any of the photos, I think bar one. I don't think there is anything on here that will leak anything huge at least as of yet. The first task almost always involves selling some kind of product to the public, so that's nothing new.

If you've seen one, you might as well look at all of them ;)

I am so confused as to why the girl's team are selling coffee AND flowers... It's just such a random combination!!

I much prefer the look of this year's female candidates to last year's... They look less TOWIE-like, and a more diverse group of people (of the five or six you can see from the photos :))

I genuinely think the number of candidates may have been increased... in one photo of the boys team, five candidates can be seen on a subteam, adn the same can be said for one of the photos showing a female sub-team.

    Oh, I don't know! :p

Hopefully there are some more photos in days to come, but obviously they won't be selling in the street very much during the series!

How can you tell what someone is like just from a photo? As Luisa says, you can have fake hair, fake nails and fake boobs, but it doesn't mean you don't have a good business brain.

    First impressions are everything :)

These people look like more serious business people... They could be crap though! :D

Maybe first impressions shouldn't be so much... Lindsay Bogaard looked like a serious businessperson.

    But they just are :)

Last year, in my view ruined the credibility of the show slightly, and I'm hoping TA can redeem itself this year.

We must be talking about the same person :)

Personally, she reminded me of felicity from series 7 :)

Can I just ask people's opinions on something?... Why are there FIVE people at that stall?... Surely that's only one sub-team, and there should be four?

And also, in the second pic I posted, do you think the woman with the black hair standing in front of Nick is a candidate?
