    Probably as the Union Jack dress is so well remembered from the 90's, this is a common stag do outfit (or hen do as Ste strangely referred to his). 90's themes are popular with their age group as that was their teenage years.

    It was different themes as well which makes it all the more coincidental - Hollyoaks' theme was the 90s whereas Emmerdale's was Christmas No. 1s.

    I loved Finn's policeman from The Pogues video :D

    It was a great idea for a costume apart from the fact that Fairytale Of New York was never a Christmas No.1

    She could just about get away with it by saying that George sang on the Band Aid single which kept Last Christmas off number one.
