Yeah, the fact I'd heard of her should have rung alarm bells.
Yes - I agree.
Its highly unlikely Ruby is doing CBB because most members of the public know who she is - which definitely rules you out of CBB on C5.:D
At the moment all we seem to have are Lauren Harries, someone who is a relatively well known half American/half Danish actor and still gets acting work (so that rules him out) and someone called Andrew Stone.
I looked up Andrew Stone on wikipedia and could only find these references - and 3 of them are dead. So it must be the Andrew Stone who is the dance instructor at Pineapple Dance Studios, Covent Garden.:D:D
"Andrew Stone may refer to:
Andrew Stone (MP) (1703–1773), British MP for Hastings, 1741–1761
Andrew L. Stone (1902–1999), American screenwriter, director, and producer
Andrew A. Stone, head football coach for the University of Tennessee, 1910
Andrew Stone, Baron Stone of Blackheath, Labour member of the House of Lords
Andrew Stone (Pineapple Dance Studios), Dance Instructor at Pineapple Dance Studios, Covent Garden, London"
Ruby Wax is not mentally stable to go into the house imo
It appears that quite a few comedians suffer from or have sufferred some kind of mental illness during their lives. It's a fine line that seperates madman and genius it seems.
In a recent radio interview I heard with Ruby Wax she showed a lot of self awareness which I think would enable her to cope well with something like CBB.
I love her observational and often self depreciating humour and I think she would be worth her weight in gold. Fingers crossed C5 have coughd up the bucks for her.
Wouldn't be surprised, she presented that car crash show on Sky 1 a few years back Cirque something. I like her though so would like to see her in there.
Don't get me wrong i love Ruby Wax but i don't think she will be in the house
this is C5,the same channel that said charlie Sheen was going in
Nonsense. The channel did nothing of the sort. Newspapers & unofficial websites are another matter altogether, it's called speculation, a bit like what you're reading now.
I hope it's true about Ruby, she'd be great value!
I think Ruby Wax could be true or more true than a lot of names been said lets face it she is very well known but low enough down the celeb list to be possible.

Agreed, it's definitely a possibility.
I'm sure she's done other reality shows before, admittedly maybe not one as time consuming as Big Brother.

She suffers from depression - that doesn't make her mentally unstable.
People said that about Barrymore, and he turned out just fine!
