Audio books.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it seemed the best place.
Has anyone used Audible for books as I tempted as the costs seem good as I have a lot of walking to work which would be made enjoyable with a good book. I have listened to quite a few books in my time but find don't like the costs and compared to normal books so these prices seem better. The book I was looking for which got to find audible is the Craig Ferguson book and the cheapest I could find it is £13
I was just wondering how the annual membership works as that looks the best option. Is it a case that if downloaded a book every 2 weeks after 6 months I would have used up my credit, could I then just buy another annual pass, and the annual pass just means that I have a year to get the 12 books.
Also what is the quality like and could I make a copy on cd so if there is a book my parents would like I could copy it for them.?

Obviously you do need an mp3 player that is compatible with Audible eg an ipod, creative, sansa and others. You also need to download the Audible software to a computer.
Finally, there's some good audio book type stuff available on BBC iPlayer for the BBC Radio 4 http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/ and 4 Extra http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/stations/radio4extra websites.
