Only just dipped into the gymnastics - what happened to Sam Oldham :(

Commentary aren't saying why except that he's just "left the arena." Oh now Matt has just said he has maybe got ligament damage or a fracture. I missed the start so don't know how that's happened.

He miss-judged his landing on the vault and landed heavily on his ankle.

I don't know how it works to be honest. Is it only the top three highest scores that count? I don't think you need all five team members to do an event as Louis Smith had only done the pommel horse yesterday not the floor or the rings.

Looks like he landed badly on the vault.

As far as I know, three top scores count.

Thanks for the info about Sam :(

No, because it's your best 3 scores in the team on each apparatus that count.

What was that idiot from England thinking of pushing the Welsh guy off the track like that.

To me it did look like Osagie was at fault but the presenters/commentators didn't seem to think so . He's been DQ for now anyway

Not liking someone's personality, as they come across on TV, has absolutely nothing to do with not totally admiring their achievements in athletics, be they disabled or able bodied.

I'm sorry but that's a load of cods wallop. Everyone of us faces our own triumphs under difficult circumstances but is she better because hers was in the public eye?

Can't stand her TBH. No sense of humour at all.

    He looks a terrific prospect.

Still finding it weird, being an old person  , that GB is so good at gymnastics these days, proper world class performers, I still remember when we got over excited at Suzanne Dando scoring just over 8 during the Moscow Olympics

On the slow mo replay you can see it bulge outward with an extra bend that shouldn't be there. Has to be broken surely? As it looked liked the bone split and bent just above the ankle.
