    considering that it's not very thick material it's quite warm !
    Mines dark blue with zipped pockets :)

    Really good quality they were in those days... It's vintage now :cool:

    St Margaret was a brand name of Corah's, a big supplier to M&S, and came from the church next to the factory in Leicester. St Michael was sort of 'inspired' by this.

    The carrier bags I remember used to state that over 90% of the goods sold were British (and earlier ones had a higher percentage). Wouldn't want to say what the percentage may be now, but I guess much closer to 0% than 90%.

    I still have a shirt with the St. Michael label in my wardrobe from the early 1980s. The quality of their clothing is a distant memory. :(

    I heavily associate St Michael with the 1980s. Probably because of the constant print and TV advertising during the Christmas season during that era.
