The Fall: Monday (May 13) at 9pm on BBC Two
From Digital Spy:
A woman is murdered in Belfast and it's up to the former Agent Scully, TV veteran Gillian Anderson, to solve the case in chilling crime series The Fall. Anderson is outstanding as DSI Stella Gibson, who's dragged down from London to help clear up the mystery, only to be constantly overruled by her superiors, but it's former Once Upon a Time hottie Jamie Dornan who's the biggest revelation as a family man/killer who may or may not be the culprit.
Many have already drawn parallels between The Fall and Scandi crime classic The Killing, and it even has echoes of that unstoppable dramatic juggernaut Homeland as Anderson's character finds herself alone in suspecting Dornan's character. Compliments don't get higher than that in TV land...
Really looking forward to this. It sounds quite moody and atmospheric. It also boasts a great cast- Gillian Anderson, Jamie Dornan, Emmett J Scanlan, Karen Hassan and Bronagh Waugh...

Actually stars a girl I was at school with as well so I'll have to remember to tune in.
Completely agree- really classy and understated. This type of drama has been seen on TV dozens of times but let's hope that this one is more in the league of Broadchurch than Midsummer Murders.

I'm watching and rewatching; I'm hooked. #TheFall is the best drama I've seen this year. And I'm including #Broadchurch in that. Broadchurch was very good, but #TheFall is mindblowing.
That's quite the accolade, I'll definitely be tuning in now!
A glowing review from Sarah Dempster at The Guardian. I like the fact that we're getting equal time devoted to the killer and the woman in charge of the investigation- makes for an interesting dynamic.
Moody, atmospheric.....SCARY..... and Gillian Anderson is great !!!!
DONT MISS IT
I thought the same but as it's only 5 episodes I might see it through.
Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan are brilliant so far though.

Not too many Belfast accents in it so far so Britain based viewers may not need subtitles. Intriguing.
