According to GeekTown this starts on E4 on 22 April at 9pm.

Not sure whether it's my sort of thing but it has had some critical success in the US.

On paper, it sounds like a load of crap and I was harsh about this
But i checked it out, and it's a delight of a show. It's camp, a bit silly but funny and charming at the same time. Plus the lead actress is fantastic and was worthy of her golden globe win. It's slightly in the same vein as Ugly Betty, so for anyone who liked that, check this out.

The lead actress of Jane the Virgin also won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy for the show as well this year. Not my cup of tea so i won't be watching but it seems like a decent show by all accounts.

This is very easy watching. In the same vein as Ugly Betty/Devious Maids :)

Don't know too much about this show. I loved Ugly Betty. Anything similar to Ugly Betty has me watching. :D

Really enjoyed this first episode. Looks like it's going to be deliciously soapy but with a good heart. Just what I need!

I have never watched Ugly Betty but I was struck by a Devious Maid-ish atmosphere to Jane.

We enjoyed the first episode and look forward to the next instalment :)

I wasn't expecting too much from this but found the first ep hilarious. Had a similar feel to Pushing Daisies if anyone remembers that.

I love how over the top the story is in this show. Makes it so fun to watch.

I liked it but all i could think of was how it reminded me of Ugly Betty. Def worth sticking with though.

I enjoy it. Yes, Ugly Betty-like, but that's the style.

I'm still enjoying it too. I think the key to it is the actress playing Jane. She does a great job.

Definitely reminds me of Ugly Betty but also somehow it reminds me of Ally McBeal

    Over here in the UK.
I'm just hoping it's not going to be one of those american shows I get into and really start to enjoy only for the channel not to buy the 2nd series because of viewing figures :-(

I genuinely didn't see last week's twist coming.

Did no one see the last episode last week?

It was an enjoyable finale, with a huge cliffhanger for a final scene.
What with Sin Rostro stealing Jane's newborn baby Matteo!

I enjoyed this but felt it went on a bit too long.
I also didn't buy Rafael and Jane together. I thought she was better suited to Michael.

So did I, and didn't mind the season length either.

I also thought Jane would end up back with Michael by the end.

I liked Xiomara and Rogelio best as characters.
