So shocked to hear this ad news..we met her on a flight years ago from Nice to London and she was so sweet to my daughter, gave autograph and chatted for ages even though she was really tired. When we landed in London she made a point of saying bye and waving...
    Far too young to go..
    RIP

I'm don't know the actress but a woman dying from a heart attack at 32 is very hinky and very sad.

    What does hinky mean?

Why on earth should I not click on any thread on DS?How is her dead any less trivialised by me not reading it?
If I hadn't clicked on it I could not have made my protest.

You've had your say and protested, yet you keep clicking.

If you think it's such an outrage then don't keep clicking on the thread and pushing it to the top.

A lot of the DS members might be too young to remember some of her films. Anyone remember Clueless, she was in that with Alicia Silverstone - she played Tai the nerdy girl who Alicia's character took under her wing.

She also starred in Just Married with Ashton Kutcher - they actually dated before he met Demi Moore.

She was also in Sin City.

Thanks. No wonder I hadn't a clue. Not seen any of those . . . . Not my kind of thing.
    RIP.

The usual outpourings of grief from those who have no emotional attachment to the girl whatsoever.

Never mind, they'll find a funeral to attend somewhere until the next "celebrity" dies.

Perhaps you should go back to an emotional attachment with your Playboy services....

She's appeared in many films and shows since 1995, so what if people dont personally know her they can still be upset

Has everyone forgot her single in the UK? Faster Kill Pussycat. I used to love that song.

Yeah I have that song. I didn't really follow her that much but she's been in quite a few films I've seen, quite shocked about her death. She was a good actress.

    wow

No disrepect OP, but.............has your dumbass heard of google? your on a showbiz forum, im pretty sure you go on showbiz websites were they would have articles already up on who britney murphy is.

people who cant find out information on a actress who is well known in hollywood and in the states should not be allowed on the internet.

I hate threads like this. Who cares if you haven't heard of her? Many people have and it's a sad story. Just because you feel left out, doesn't mean you should start a pointless thread. Attention seeking.

If you think it's such an outrage then don't keep clicking on the thread and pushing it to the top.

Of course I keep on clicking because I feel strongly about it!!!
I am entitled to defend my position. The damage is done by nature of the thread's existance. Not being at the top will not prevent it being retreived in a search by the bereaved unfortunatley.

I think its a disgrace how people have jumped on the OP calling them insensitive and accusing them of trivialising this young woman's death.

I think the OP makes a very good point - people on here are slagging each other off, resorting to personal insults over 2 songs battling to get to number one. Brittany's family (and yes, families all over the world) have and will lose loved ones over Christmas. It DOES put things into perspective, and all people can accuse the OP of is using the campaign as a way to be the first to give readers of the X Factor forum the "gossip" of Brittany's sad death.

    Shame on you all.

I never knew much about her aside from seeing a few of her movies. I never knew her husband was so sketchy. Several articles that came up in a search, seem to portray him in this light anyway... who knows how much truth there is to reports though.
