I wish he wouldnt predict the end of every frame about two or three pots into it..
( i know this one seemed dead and buried so its fair enough), but in general he ruins the anticipation of the frame ahead i think...

Whatever you think of Judd Trump - he is a genius at getting snookers. He's much more than just potting balls. It's just a shame he seemed to lose a bit of self-belief or concentration in the last few frames.

Agreed, great last frame, when Judd got the 3 snookers it looked a bit embarassing for Carter to have done the fist pump before, but he got away with it lol

Yeah it did seem that way, didn't it. I think Trump has to mature a bit as he does seem to come across as a bit too over confident at times. And is fans are annoying also!

I was wondering if any snooker experts out there could clear something up for me; in the Trump/Carter match there was a bit of confusion as to whether or not a free ball should be awarded, there was one red + the colours on the table, the referee went & got another red ball & placed it next to the last remaining red ball, decided it wasn't a free ball, then put the extra red back in the pocket. What was that all about?

He was using the red he got out of the pocket as a guide to see if both sides of the last red on the table could be hit, that's all

I wasn't able to watch the game but the BBC website has a long red from Trump on their site.
