I know a lot of people wouldn't agree. My personal opinion is that Paul McGann (8th Dr) if i'm correct was given a bad deal with the producers and directors for making him play a script with no sense of character or personality. He once told Terry Wogan it was worst time of his acting career.

I thought he was a good dr

    worst for me has to be Sylvester McCoy. He was as mad and off his head

    They've all been great, but I think Matt Smith 'contains' all of them in a way no-one has done since Hartnell.

    Tom Baker.

    I was once about 30 feet away from Tom Baker when he was on Multi Coloured Swap Shop UK places part of the show many years ago
    He was ok too

    I wasn't into Davidson, kinda stayed in touch with C Baker for a few stories, but McCoy killed it off me in the 80s.

    In fact I think I managed just the one episode.

    and, even now, those three are the least likely I'll track down on DVD.

    For the backstory/historical interest, I'd probably pick Colin as the one I could re-watch.
