Yes I've seen it happen a number of times and what's more I also did it myself. I was about twelve at the time. I was stood close to the right hand edge of the six yard box. It was a right wing corner. Not sure of the exact sequence but I think I took a few steps forward and turned my head slightly to the left. Bang! The incoming ball, travelling at at a rate of knots, struck me on the left temple and was deflected back and upwards into the top right corner of the goal.
I've Seen It Said That A Header And Then A Left Foot Goal And Then A Right Foot Goal Is Called A PERFECT HAT-TRICK But That Isn't True As You Could Improve It With A Backflip Lol
I've seen Carlton Palmer score a header from 20 yards. I've also seen him score an own goal with a header from a similar distance. Strangest of all, I've seen him score with a header for England.

Danny Welbeck nearly scored one, on Wednesday.
I almost soiled myself.
Same with Tommy Mooney...
That may have been Duncan Ferguson. I believe he went to jail.
Perhaps your comment is better directed in there.
1860s, yes. I remember it well. For old Sheffield Friday as I recall.
It's FOOTball. Not HEADball.
Right in front of me so yes
I saw a player sent off in 1994.
In 2004, I saw someone miss a penalty, but score on the rebound.
