Go Roy. What a speech... this is an important episode as well as hugely entertaining. Good on them... The atmosphere is brilliant!

Why are the choir sitting down for the meal with all of Roy and Hayleys friends?

Grandma Dreary will just give him a silent treatment if he doesn't behave :D

Awww Roy and Hayley's wedding is so lovely. Amid all the comedy and drama there's been some really lovely moments.

Was a great episode- had a true 'Corrie' feeling about it.

However, I can't help but feel that some posters are being slightly hypocritical when they bring other soaps into the topic. This is a thread about Corrie and how good tonight's episodes were, nothing to do with what EE does or doesn't do.

It was fantastic. Perfect balance of comedy/drama/touching moments without it feeling like the tone was changing too often. Love how they managed to intertwine storylines - Claire's leaving storyline tying in with the Sophie/Sian reveal, which parallelled so well with Roy/Hayley and the similar intolerence they had to face. Loved all the characters chiming in with their comments. And Roy's speech actually had me welling up a little bit :D

Doubt Eastenders would do this anymore.

    This.

Least corrie won't get slated on here now after tonight's two very good episodes.

I loved seeing so many of the cast together.

I like the way the writing is going back to connecting so many different characters too. For example Aadi's injury is impacting not only Dev and Sunita, but also Claire and Ashley, Sally and Kevin, Sophie and Sian and eventually Peter, Leanne and Simon. The way they're intertwining their stories is brilliant.

 Who really cares about the whole my soap is better than yours.

First time I've watched Corrie in ages I didn't know it was Hayley's wedding. Loved Mary and the Sophie Sian stuff was great.

Have to say I found the Sophie revealing to Kevin really touching as well. I always felt that she was always her father's favourite whislt Rosie was clearly Sally's pride and joy. Thought it was very realistic how tearful and scared she was and how he initially thought she was telling him something happened with Aadi whilst she was babysitting.

Not a fan of Brooke... seems cocky.

    May just be me though.
