  Who knows...last year's festive edition was the 2nd most watched show on Christmas Day last year. If the demand and popularity remains high they may well commission another.

  It all depends on ratings. Royle family can pull in 11-13 million people, I dont think G+S would be as popular maybe 9-11 million.
  
  But yeah I still think they will give it a rest next year

  The RF won't get anywhere near 11-13 million even the peaktime soaps will be lucky to get those sort of numbers today.

  I didnt say it would I said could pull in more figures. I think RF has a greater audience reach then G and S.

  Hoping its a cracker. For me its been off the boil recently. There has been too much of an emphasis on Jim and the show works best round the telly or with a houseful of characters all chipping in.
