Hello. I'm looking to give Ubuntu a go. Does anyone use it, and if so does anyone also have ideas of a small (10-11 inch I suppose) netbook that would be good to run Ubuntu on? Poss £200ish to spend so it'd have to be pretty basic.
It's not going to replace my MacBook Pro but I wouldn't mind giving Ubuntu a try and don't particularly want to partition my Mac.

It will run on any netbook currently available.
You could always just run it as a Live CD so that you don't need to install it - just run it off the CD and see what you think of it.
Just a suggestion as its youre money at the end of the day you can buy then try if you want.
Or use the live cds\virtual programs etc before spending youre money only to decide you dont like Ubuntu!
Yeah, I gave that a go but I couldn't get online running it from a CD for some reason. Good that it doesn't matter what netbook then.
