What box would you recommend
Hello to you all,
I have been out of the country for a little while and a lot seems to have happened, to the point that I need some advice as to which box I should be looking at.
Let me tell you what I need.
Firstly, an hd freeview receiver.
Secondly, the ability to hook up to the internet via a LAN cable and also via a usb wireless device. This would be in order to watch iplayer etc.
Thirdly, perhaps the ability to record the output from iplayer and the freeview receiver itself. An added bonus would be the ability to dump said recorded programmes onto a stick or external hard drive.
I should add that I'm not a rich man!
Is this possible? Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
I'm sorry if the questions appear obvious to those in the know but sadly, I no longer am.
Many thanks.

Bear in mind that the HD-FOX T2 only has a single tuner, so can only record one programme at a time, unlike the HDR-FOX T2 which has two tuners and can record two programmes while you're watching another.
They retail at £250. Or you could sign up for phone & BB from either TalkTalk or BT and they'll give you one for free, if you sign up for they're basic TV packages.
But you cannot dump said recorded programmes onto a stick or external hard drive, its via scart only. And you'll need a minimum BB speed of 3Mbps for a retail box, 5Mbps via the ISP's boxes. Definitely worth a look.

If you are not that bothered about recording iPlayer, I would recommend whichever of these two Freeview HD+ PVRs took your fancy

TVOnics was acquired by Pulse-Eight last year.
Also, with custom firmware, I believe it is possible to save iPlayer streams to disk.
Can't export recordings
Cant put the HD channels (at the end of the epg - right next to TVX/Babestation crap) at the start (so bbc1 HD from 101 to 1)
Here's the box I got -

The hacked software is a must for Humax owners it allows all sorts of IP infringment as reported by many Humax owners.
