Morning Ack - I'm in the mood for a good strop this morning, we could have a mass strop.

morning JoJo :)...i,ll start with a "random " . ...Radio 2 ..Why ?...Vanessa Feltz on said Radio 2 Why ? Eventually she plays a record . Ditto Chris Evans and Graham bloody Norton and Steve Wright whos got a bit of his brain missing ...the bit that doesnt let him know that it isnt still 1982 . And Paul O Grady who is forever making Wigan Casino all nighters look like Hi De Hi meets Enid Blyton ...." It had a reputation but I never saw anything dodgy going on there " ....he must have gone with his bloody Sunday School . Seriously why do they get paid a fortune for playing other peoples ( for the main part ) rubbish records ?....all of this is minor ...this is me sparing you really :p

Thank goodness at least some of the security are paid professionals. You would be very unlikely to tackle a terrorist for the reward of a free oyster card and a pinky and perky outfit.

DISCLAIMER. ...This mention of the Olympics is not an indication that any member of this forum is not up to the job of guarding our freedom. He/she may have the sniffer ability of Eddie and Keela and the agility of David Walliams in the water for all i know.

I'd be unlikely to tackle a terrorist in any event:o I suppose you could poke him in the eye with your oyster card and render him helpless with laughter at the 'outfit'.

I'd hope that London will be on mega security alert for the whole time with all that entails.

Ha ha - that's cheered me up already! I quite like GN but CE is too much for me these days, I used to like him on the Breakfast Show but I was younger then and my ears hadn't been unceasingly attacked by dross.

Being a radio DJ is 'a profession' these days, what would these guys do otherwise?

I prefer R4 until I feel more human around lunch time, I can tune in and tune out as necessary.

Our relief postman is Chinese. I always thought our regular postman was one of the best we've ever had, but this guy is magic. Our post is delivered a good 2 hours earlier than usual, and he appears to be able to decipher the ludicrous names and addresses people mistakenly use for us. He smiles a lot too.

Did you see the contortionist on BGT? I've never understood the fascination for it - apart from the obvious and that 's not essential - how is that 'a talent'?

There are to many radio stations these days just copying one anothers style and playing the same dreary records . It seems that thats how they get a license . A genuinely interesting and eclectic Radio station would have arse chance of getting a license at all ....pop radio just seems to be full of numpties shouting " look how stupid I am and look how conservative and crap my taste in music is ".....see what I mean ?...strop :o...im going for a lie down and see whos peeling me a grape .

Ours has got the freckliest head i have ever seen and he is a bit over friendly (Elfy says it is cos of the flannel nighties) but we have had no bother with missing parcels since he took over.
My Britney headset just arrived
I would be even more pleased if i could get it out of the packet.

I found myself in a thread ( not ds and not posting ) the other night ..." What was the best nicked car you ever went to an all nighter in " ?:o....but that said yeah they were relatively genteel. I never once saw a fight but Paul O Grady does seem to have a particularly candy floss view of what it was .

To be fair, there could have been riots going on while i was (very often) asleep in the corner under my afghan. :D

I'd peel you loads of grapes if I were there:cool:

I'#m never sure who chooses the playlist - some DJs insist it's all their own choice, others plead no involvement that they're just told what to play???

You'll hve to get rid of the flannel nighties, inflaming the postie is an offence you know.

I almost like watching and listening to the judges more than the turns!

I tend to record so I can FF through the more excrutiating people.

    Morning Balders. :D

It just gets worse & worse.:mad:

Don't make it too big or you'll end up losing most of the ointment!
I didn't cut the end off because it would have left a sharp edge.:(
    Couldn't take a chance.
Got the lady in the office to put a bit in for me.
To make matters worse it won't come off the end of the tube.
I expect the thicker it is means it stays longer on the eyeball so much more effective than drops even though its a fiddle applying it. When I have used it I did it by feel, felt my lower eyelid and just squeezed the tube along it, its a bit hit and miss but you do get a certain amount where it needs to be.
It is very thick, like putting filler round the bath but on a small scale.

LOL - I loved Crossroads - my friends and I used to arrange our baby's feeds to coincide with it so we could sit down in peace! You can do that with your first:D

You could get a patch and tell your grandchildren you've become a pirate:cool:

I'm sure I've had cream with antibio in as well, and drops??
    Your not taking this serious.:D

I'll tell you whats in it.

Only need a wick and i've got an oil lamp.:D

That is antibiotic so you will have to be held down while it is spread along your eye to ensure the correct dose. (I speak from experience :()
