Not catering for veggies, not good.

Beans and toms on burnt toast and like it.

As long as her arms are not dusty or hiding pubes, she'll be ok. I think she is nice.

Loving the two girls, Toni and Gino's wife.

Louis looks like he's written War and Peace on that feedback form! He'll be the one with a point of view on EVERYTHING.

Who the hell has haddock for breakfast?

They should put her in her plaice about that.

Didn't catch how much the windmill's rooms are, but going off what I saw looks nice...although I wouldn't appreciate waiting 20mins for my coffee.
Louis seemed to be comparing facilities to a hotel, which it ain't.

I know. I just can't see anything nice in them at all & especially showing them off like that as if everyone wants or needs to see them! :( I assume she must be the "bloke" out of the 2 of them?

    Oh behave hoppy :p
Actually, it's pointless saying that to you :D

Early thoughts on this week are that we'll all be needing tin hats.

You are still as perceptive as ever but I am not talking to you in any sort of a familiar way.

Not these days, I have friends covered in them and are as straight as can be, then I have gay friends with none. My other lesbian friend got married to her wife and both were wearing white dresses, no "bloke" type there.

I like the 2 girls, Toni & Mrs Gino...actually Gino seems nice enough too when he's not being sexist :-)

Does there really have to be a bloke? I imagine that is probably the last thing either of them wants to be.

    >groan<

I had smoked haddock and a poached egg with toast last week, but it was late breakfast/early lunch - and I had to cook it myself

So far, yes, I think I like them too.

I was just saying that I reckon Louis thinks he's The Hotel Inspector.
Problem being that he's setting himself up for a fall if he's not careful.

There wasn't really a big fuss over 'coffeegate'
I think they were just a bit nervous and you never know, the filming could've got in the way of service?
    I'm always being devil's advocate aren't I.

Disagreed strongly about the amount of choice on the menu - if you're vegetarian you'd probably say so when booking wouldn't you? I don't expect a home-run B&B to have a vast menu or store of ingredients such as fish for breakfast  Nice if they do, but I wouldn't criticise if they don't.
It sounds like an excuse to find fault.

I thought Debbie and Karen and Toni did have useful feedback - size of the towels would annoy me and the issue with a shower that wasn't hot...easily fixed, but a shame they hadn't sorted it before the programme.

I have been away in the BB house for a few weeks and come back to find
    clique-gate.

I might watch this weeks FIAB, is it ok to comment on it at all?

LOL hoppy I got that in before you! :p
I try to wait until it has finished before commenting because the minute I look away from the tele I miss something.
But there are some clever folk who can type and watch at the same time. ;)
I thought Windmill Cottage looked lovely, I particularly liked their front door.

    Not nice.
See also previous comment about the towels.

I heard Lorraine's response about buying what you can afford, but I think more money spent in the beginning pays dividends in the long term and that's leaving out the guests' enjoyment of better quality in the short term.

Have a look at this link of Now and Then

Did you hear how Louis was mentally re-furnishing the rooms and also complaining about the amount of space ... in a cottage.

It reminded me of Escape to the Country where people want a cottage with loads of character and then complain about small rooms and low ceilings

Just watched their promotional video on their website. Not sure about that tbh. A lot of plinky plonky music and various shots of bottles of wine in soup bowls.

Yes, Louis was redesigning both the rooms and the breakfast layout/menu!!!
