So in the other thread about this is a discussion on the new survey DS wants us to complete and it seems a lot of people gave up when getting to the sorting section. And I feel like this needs a poll.

So the question is did you complete the survey and was it because of that sorting section?

(Poll coming soonish)

Did you complete the DS survey? 120 votes

Yes
16% 20 votes
No (I gave up in the sorting section)
57% 69 votes
No

Haven't seen any requests for a survey to be completed.

    No.
As surveys go, it was very poor.

Do we have to sort the poll options into groups and give them names?

I did it but I can see why others might have felt that it fell in the 'too long; don't read' category.

It was the single worst survey I have ever set eyes on.

I did though I was sorely tempted to bail on the sorting thing.

Nope. Gave up a few minutes into trying to do that sorting thing. Far too much work to the point of mickey taking on DS' part.

I gave up moments after beginning the drag and drop exercise.

I'm another one who gave up at that sorting section. Totally daft, I even tried starting it but gave up. Someone at DS needs to go back to the drawing board, that survey isn't going to produce proper representative results.

As soon as I got to that sorting section, I lost the will to live and backed out.

Also, I noticed there was no reference to General Discussion whatever. It was like it didn't exist.

    So meh ^_^

Yes I did, and I hope they make sure I win those Amazon vouchers now after all that effort. :D

I can see one of two things happening here. Either DS will admit it isn't great, relaunch the survey if they really want decent results, and we'll start again. Or there will just be a load of people who put in any old thing to get entered for the vouchers draw and DS will have a load of results that are pointless.

I did not want the £100 enough to complete the last section

I gave it 20 minutes and then gave up, I'm afraid.

The sorting section was far too long winded. I arranged the bits I wanted to see, but couldn't be arsed to sort the rest and gave up.

For most the card sorting seems to have been a no go.

Perhaps they should of offered £10 Amazon voucher to everyone who completed it.

They could have saved themselves some money by telling whoever devised such a pointless exercise to try again, and offering them a £10 Amazon voucher as an incentive!

I started the sorting but it's really not tablet friendly and just couldn't be arsed to persevere.

You will have to go halves with me as I have my eye on a large luxury dog bed for my doggie and our new puppy to share :)
