Is wearing a light grey suit appropriate for a job interview?

  If it's smart like this http://media.burton.co.uk/wcsstore/Burton/images/catalog/02S07BGRY_large.jpg then that seems fine for an interview.

  As long as you look smart it's fine.
  
  My current suit is grey and I wear it to interviews (and weddings. and funerals, and work events, and more)
  
  The previous one was black and lasted me nearly 10 years

  As long as your shirt/shoes/tie match the suit then grey would be absolutely fine for an interview. Good luck!
