Dimbleby shuts down the conversation when it gets to strongly anti EU. No shortage of pro eu endorsements up until then.

Nick not got a hovel in the Ukraine as well as a shed in France? Dreadful chairing and waffling from Dimbleby as usual.

To be fair (and I'm anti-EU myself), the old boy was getting into the two World Wars, which are really neither here nor there when it comes to the EU.

So next week it's daily mail again?

    Hopefully peter hitchens!!! :)

I don't mind Melanie Phillips (I'm actually enjoying here piece in the Times), but Amanda patell...

I know Peter always comes across as a pure Nazi and is great entertainment because he gets all the boos and hisses, but he is actually a really nice person to speak to and is very polite

Oh please. What about other Eastern European Countries?

The Russians were asked to go in to Crimea. Do we keep forgetting that?

Just like Hitler was invited by the Sudeten Germans. It's still illegal.

This year we are giving Scotland a referendum about leaving the UK. Why shouldn't this apply to the Crimea.

I'm not against their Referendum, I actually think they should go ahead with it. How can anyone say "you can't leave" after they vote to rejoin Russia.

So treating an ethnic group as 2nd class citizens and making their government illegal as well as their language. Yeah what the Ukraine Government is so good and Russia being invited in to the area is so bad and illegal.

    Get a grip

Exactly. Ukraine seems to be an unnatural country.

No I have a grip. I'm just not suckered in by what the media tell me about this situation. Russia hasn't invaded they were invited in.

I don't doubt it. He's one of the most interesting and intelligent panellists to frequent the show.

Hewer isn't taking any prisoners tonight. Vicious

He loves east europeans coming over in their droves, but ducked the question, which immigrants doesn't he like.

Nine weeks to Euro elections and panels like tonight's must be warming Farage and UKIPs cockles!
The Libs must be very hard up to put the muppett Kramer up; and likewise so called 'Labour' putting up Alexander.
Looks like the likely carnage is being ignored.
