Did a search in this forum and it only gets one mention.. So I thought I would give it a boost.

I have had one of these for a year or so now and I think it is the Mutts Nuts!

All the usual uses MP3, MP4, Photo's, Portable HDD BUT

can play out both Audio & Video to TV via Audio/Video Cable
can do on the fly audio recording by adding a mic

And the latest (well a few months now) addition (due to some very clever guys finding a way of running homebrew code) the ability to play Game Boy, NES & Game Gear ROMs.

Which IPod can do all that again?

People use this forum when looking for a new MP3/MP4 player. Just wanted to ensure that it was not just iPods that people see when the search.

Mine has just packed up for the second time. It was so much hassle getting a replacement last time( Archos service is non exsistent!!) I have just binned it I will look for something more reliable.

A friend of mine has the 404, I like it, but doesn't look very good for carrying in a pocket, playing music.

Yeh, the 404 is more of a Portable Video/Media Player than an pocket MP3 Player. The 402 is more 'iPod Size'.
