Just got super cappuccino maker from my son for Xmas
Uses tassimo method/pods/capsules
For cappuccino it needs both coffee pod and frothy milk pod but it doesn't say which should go in the cup first
I'm sure when they make it in cafe they put frothy milk in first and then pour thick black coffee through it
Anyone got one these and figured it out
Milk first or coffee first???
Is it same way for cafe latte????

Milk is steamed and poured slightly differently for a cappuccino its frothier than a latte.
Latte = milk then coffee
No one seems to know for sure
But always coffee first.
If you google latte art it tells you to pour the milk through the coffee??

One thing that really irritates me though, it's cafe latte, NOT latte. Latte is milk pure and simple. My irrationality may be caused by having 'slept' in Romes Fiumicino Airport because of non existent fog (Ariel Sharon being a fat git and taking too long at his state banquet in reality) and having irritating Americans screeching that the Italians "don't even know what a latte is!!!". If I had had a machine gun that morning I would of mown the t**ts down!
Scrummy
Its the ratio of frothed milk
There should be less froth on a latte than a cappuchino and the froth should not be as heavy just a small layer on the top for a latte also there is no chocolate sprinkled on a latte.
Agree always coffee first.
You'll need to tell the tassimo manufacturers that cuz latte milk pod is 3 times bigger than cappucino milk pod
edit: D'oh! Just saw that it uses a frothy milk pod... sorry, I have no idea how to use one of those.
I think it becomes a latte macchiato, and an espresso or caffe macchiato is a shot of espresso, 'marked' with froth.
Well there should be more milk in a latte but less froth.
Not idea about those tassimo things.
I just bought macchiato and the pods say 'espresso for macchiato' and 'milk for macchiato'.
Is the contents of the pods different from ordinary espresso and milk pods or is it just the bar codes which tell the machine how to prepare them?
