Soap couples who just don't work

Watching Emmerdale right now makes me think what a rubbish soap couple Aaron and Jackson are, they have zero chemistry between them and never seem to be happy.

Can anyone think of any others?

Ethan and Liberty in Hollyoaks. Although that's mainly due to the fact that Liberty doesn't work with anything, or anyone.

Ian Beale and anyone. That man is unattractive in every sense of the word, no one in real life would go near him.

Never really felt Tina and Graeme were well matched as a couple.

Tamwar and Afia. They did work, and in principle they still should... but they just don't.

Leah and Elijah in Home and away- I much preferred her with Robertson and she should get together with Miles

Sunita and Dev in corrie have zero chemistry but that's probably because he's such a crap actor

Steve and Becky in Corrie. I hate them as a couple and feel they bring out the worst in each other.

Couldn't agree more they have zero chemistry, I think that has been my biggest dislike of Ronnie's along with being with Jack not only after impregnating her sister but her cousin also.

I just don't buy them at all.

That's because Jack is a complete plank with no chemistry with anyone, male or female.

Too right. Definitely the most pathetic pairing in any soap ever.

Steph and Gilly in Hollyoaks didnt work at all, I dont think any HO fan bought that at all.

I didnt particuarly like Dennis and Sharon in Eastenders, I felt alot of his characters potential got lost when that happened.

I had actually forgotten about that sorry episode altogether.

Incidentally the only spark I ever saw between Jack and a woman was when Janine tied him to a radiator!

Agreed...I would add Hollyoaks' Hannah and Justin...and Carmel & Calvin (she had much better chemistry with Aleksander, the fit illegal immigrant)
