They do, they just don't realise it at the time. Dead easy to do if you're the subversive/ sad/ vengeful type with too much time on your hands. Stick a porno into a bunch of video or DVD cases. They make check some, but not all. Even if they do, genuine looking labels are easy to print at home.
As you might know from other threads I volunteer in a charity shop and look after cds and dvds and check everything that comes in. My manager says as long as it has a certificate it's ok to sell. We've had occasional Playboy/Adult Channel dvds-Ally McSqueal, Katie's Fantasies, etc, along with the odd copy of films such as Base-Moi or Destricted, and have put them out for sale. However any R18's-and in the three and a half years I've been there I've literally seen no more than three or four come in-they go straight in the recycling bin along with any obvious fakes or home recorded stuff.
