Workers at the charity shops consider getting first dibs on any pornos in their shop as a perk of the job, that's why you won't see them.;-)

They probably wouldn't be allowed to either way anyway.

The staff would probably have them first.

I could see one accidentally finding it's way in though. One of the movies where the title is pretty close to the thing it's parodying.

They do, they just don't realise it at the time. Dead easy to do if you're the subversive/ sad/ vengeful type with too much time on your hands. Stick a porno into a bunch of video or DVD cases. They make check some, but not all. Even if they do, genuine looking labels are easy to print at home.

Would they sell The Wolf Of Wall Street or Blue Is The Warmest Colour on dvd?

    Or Nymphomaniac?

    Or HBO box sets?

Or one of the many sexually explicit films which seem to be the latest trend at the moment?

As you might know from other threads I volunteer in a charity shop and look after cds and dvds and check everything that comes in. My manager says as long as it has a certificate it's ok to sell. We've had occasional Playboy/Adult Channel dvds-Ally McSqueal, Katie's Fantasies, etc, along with the odd copy of films such as Base-Moi or Destricted, and have put them out for sale. However any R18's-and in the three and a half years I've been there I've literally seen no more than three or four come in-they go straight in the recycling bin along with any obvious fakes or home recorded stuff.

R18's can only legally be sold in licenced sex shops. No point giving them to charity shops. Where I used to live they were dumped in lay-bys.

Just purely as a matter of interest and for no other reason, which lay-by was this exactly.

I was thinking of porn acronyms for charity shops.

I started with the British Heart Foundation - BHF.

I got to Big Hairy Fan.... and i stopped myself right there and then.
