Just print more money like the government have been doing for the last year or two.

Would that not just increase our debt to the Bank Of England and cause hyperinflation?

Coincidentally (genuinely) I am withdrawing a moderately large sum on Wednesday to have ready to pay builders over the next 6 weeks. It will be interesting to see how many people are withdrawing cash while I am there.
I can remember going to the building society to put some in on the day the shit hit the fan in 2008 and being astounded how many worried looking people, mostly pensioners, were there clutching their pass books.

Which is better than -10% :D

Oh yeah I know, but it looks like we're slowly going that way. Only another -12 to go :(

Lemmings at a cliff edge, but grabbing hold of everyone else as they jump.

Hilariously we would quickly be onto ration books with the banknotes declared void.

    I don't mind if it does. What's 10% of minus £158.62?!!
