shes up herself and like someone else said her eyes are too close together
lets see if they stay that way next week lol
dont like her attitude at all-she lost a hundred pounds worth of money and blamed it on mona didnt say anything abut the budget at the time yet acted like she was the manager
of course siralan was never going to get rid of her week one but her time will come
Um, I don't follow. Not keeping on top of expenses meant they spent £89 more than the boys, which was enough to lose them the task, and Mona (and Anita) carried the can for that. Admittedly Mona's sub-team made the bulk of the money, £217 versus £140, but much of that was due to their ridiculous over-pricing which I am reluctant to give much credit for. Or to put it another way, I'm not going to criticise Debra for not over-pricing the same way.
And frankly, I don't much care whether they are any good at cleaning cars. That's not what the eventual job will involve.
It doesn't really matter if Mona overpriced, generally in business that's not a bad thing, it's all about negotiating the highest price and, I don't know how, but Mona and the girls on her team managed it considering they got to clean the hummers for £40 each instead of the £20 the company claimed they usually paid plus they showed a bit of initiative cleaning the cars on the busy industrial estate.
Debra's team on the other hand took three hours to clean four cars, so her 'fair pricing' is irreleavant if her and her team couldn't actually get the job done (they still didn't clean those classic cars properly after three hours!) and therefore lost out on extra money. Plus after that Debra had to ring Mona to say 'what next?' showing no initiative of her own and called her a second time complaining to Mona that she couldn't reign in her team.
If haggling a higher price was a bad thing Mona would have been picked up on it but she wasn't. Also you have to consider that one of their later tasks will involve getting a bunch of items for the highest price possible, even if it is a rip off. They win the tasks on how much money they make - that's it. Debra and her team failed on that front.

I didn't say it was a bad thing. I said I wouldn't criticise Debra for not over-pricing the same way. I also agreed Debra didn't do well on the cars - they all found it took longer than one might have expected.

It was entirely appropriate for her to check in with the project leader once she'd finished her assigned tasks.
The fact that she tried to make something "racialist" out of a straighforward "one white person, one non-white person equal representation" argument surely makes her a David Brent?
When she had her "David Brent" moment in the car about yasmina's "race" comment:D and her comment about Lorraine's pitch in the boardroom:rolleyes: what a way to endear herself eh?
She did irritate me this week. Mainly due to the hand clutching at the music recital - is Kathryn Jenkins singing really so moving that you need a rapturous look and the physical support of the person next to you? She looked like she was having a religious vision.
Also disliked her ban wagoning over reaction to the issues of racism, and her inability to disagree with Philip. She comes over all girly whenever he speaks and is much ruder to the girls.

That for me, showed her to be the racist one. Protesting too much.
like everyone else her attempted put down of Lorraine. She was NOT pleased when Philip stood up for her and said she'd done a great job.
Sir Alan also said they could thank Lorraine and Philip? for the win. I bet she was raging at that. If they'd lost Lorraine would have been the first she'd have taken into the boardroom.

Hardly. Yasmina said they should have a white person, and that is something that needed to be clarified. However, when pressed Yasmina couldn't explain herself and then just hung up, leaving Debra fuming. It wasn't a big deal and wouldn't have happened face to face.
She does just look like a real bitchy person...it's just the look she has...and she comes across as a bitchy person. I wonder if she became bitchy because of her look, or if her look became like that because she was bitchy?

the chicken or the egg?
this week, right at the end she was bitching about that tall guy who peed his pants the other week...saying he shoud go (giving the bitchy side glances!)...and then as he wals in she's the first to leap up and hug him

I don't thik Debra deserves the derision she's had for that. While arguing that both models should not be from ethnic minorities due to the impression this might give doesn't make Yasmina racist, it does mean that she is making decisions on the basis that her potential customers might be. In real life, if a black model was not selected for a job for such a reason, her employers might not be racist but he/she would still have missed out on work due to their race. It's a fine point, and while Debra may not have been totally right, she wasn't totally wrong either and I was surprised to see all the panellists on You're Fired so against her.
It could all have been avoided if Yasmina had been honest in the first place about her reason for not wanting Noorul to do it (that he's not really very attractive to look at).

But then Debra isn't playing for England.
