How many threads have you "alerted"?

Ever alerted one because you feel it needs to be moved to a different forum?

Hmmmm.

How many mods do you think there are on-line during the day? Do we get 24 hour cover?

I like to alert at least one post in each thread I read. Its like OCD for me, can't leave it till I've hit alert.
    It's a habbit. :o

    Never ever hit ALERT.

I would only consider doing so if hitting the button poured cold custard over the 'alerted' poster.

Zero and I very much doubt I will. It's like 'telling' isn't it?

Or a comedy boxing glove on a spring hurtled out of their PC screen...

    Very good.

Or maybe both depending on the seriousness of the alert?

I've asked for a few posts to be deleted, including my own, and reported a couple of others when they're exceptionally over the top. I largely leave it though - a lot of the troll posts can be comedy gold.

when the daft racists cross the line, they certainly get alerted.

Also spam, though I'm more likely to mess with them if they're up for some dialogue.

I can't imagine doing it just because someone had posted in the wrong thread!, that just seem's petty but!, i did hit it once when i read something that one of our elustrious Troll's had written!, it was really crude and i didn't like it a bit!....

And i must say!, 'they acted very swiftly' the post was gone immediately, and he was banned for a few days as well!....:D

Oh yeah, for sure. You'd have some kind of adjustable velocity setting depending on how much I disagreed... er, I mean, was offended by, the post in question.

For example, you see something mildly offensive, so you turn the dial to '1' and press alert. At the other end, someone like Audley Harrison bursts through their screen

Set it to 'ten' though...

Same here. With a definite Armstrong & Miller (Chav Pilots) accent on the latter! ;)

that's lovely, you can say whatever you want on servers you own.

People disrupting DS, I have no time for.

And saying "I don't grass" makes you sound like a 12 year old :D
