Thanks for the warning, I'll be watching MOTD.I have never seen anything remotely amusing in Vic Reeves or his minder Bob somebody, puerile, childish humour.

Fantastic series. Got the DVD when it was released a few years ago.

The Stotts, Graham Lister, Les, The Man With The Stick - all classic characters.

Got the first two series on DVD.

    Frankly, that was V & B's peak, they've haven't really bettered it.
The stage format was ideal for their lunacy.
It could be argued that the first series was genius while the second relied too much on silly catch phrases: " Vic, I've fallen ".

    .........and I still fancy Judith.

And there was even a time when they got away with shouting the word "Tw*t" through a megaphone, and the video got a PG cert. Bet that wouldn't happen today if it was being rated now.

Big Night Out was wonderful, but then they went to BBC1 and both Smell Of.. and Bang Bang were godawful.

Spin Spin Spin the wheel of justice, see how fast the b**stard turns.
That show was brilliant. I bought Vics' album and loved all the songs.
The ramblers were really funny with their song 'My Rose has left me'.

Lister was the greatest, the brown coat and clipboard with the black wig, the way he used to try and outwit Vic, haha. :D
I remember the songs at the end too, especially the 'Oh mister...' one, can't remember it now. I think I might have Dizzy somewhere.

Surprised it's not been mentioned yet.. but...
    Chives!

i've had them on DVD for ages - still watch them even today.

it's hard to believe they were only 30 minute shows - so much went on, they did seem longer.

    "Oohh Vic i've fallen ..."

Sorry to be a Vic & Bob pedant, but the ramblers were 'Tinker's Rucksack' and they sang 'In The Summer Of 75'.

'My Rose Has Left Me' was, of course, one of the classic 'Mulligan & O'Hare' songs from 'The Smell Of Reeves & Mortimer'.

Great show to watch when you get in from the pub. I just caught the beginning on +1 :D

It was a shame that they censored out the bastard in the song :( I guess it's to be expected on G.O.L.D though.

I know it's not BNO, but:

    My Rose has left me
    I'm in a mood
She's gone to Kenya with the bloke from Allied Carpets.. :D

We all gazed in wonder as Frampton came alive......in the Summer of '75

I wonder if there's a time late enough in the day for GOLD not to censor their programmes?

I know, it is annoying but it's probably because then they can put it on at anytime.
