  I only watch this every few months.. can someone tell me.. is it accepted that this show is basically fake or is it really happening?
  
  What I don't get is why would people who know they've lied go on a show with a lie detector test which is always believed? Especially when it's the liar who seems to have applied to go on the show?
  
  Do the people who go on already know the outcome and are just "playing along" so to speak knowing the result before they go on to get the money?
  
  It just makes no sense to me. If I'm cheating.. why would I agree to go on Jeremy Kyle to 'prove' my innocence?
