Fleetwood Mac "Can you hear me calling................out your name."

The music and lyrics just don't fit together. It sounds terrible. How that song was a hit is beyond me.

Britney ft. Sabi - Drop Dead (Beautiful)....Sabi's horrible rap features the line "steaming like a pot full of vegetables"..... It ruins the entire song for me. What a dreadful lyric.

This. The song would be so good if it didn't have this terrible line in it.

"Santa Baby" always gets to me because of:

"I really do believe in you / Let's see if you believe in me"

The lack of rhyme really grinds my gears but I think more than anything it's just because "Let's see if you believe me too" works better, rhymes and goes with the general cheekiness of the song. Always bugs me when that part comes up.

Its the pronounciation of "could of" rather than "could have" that annoys me, but that's more to do with accent I suppose.

    All Saints - Never Ever

"A Few Questions That I Need To Know"

Shouldn't it be, a few answers that I need to know as you're the one asking the questions

    Shaggy - It Wasn't Me

'Seeing is believing so you better change your specs'

I don't think any other line in a song makes me cringe as much.

"Do you ever feel, like a plastic bag?" Katy Perry, Fireworks.

No, no I do not. I can safely say that I have never felt like a plastic friggin' bag.

    Similarly:

This thread was made for Little Things - One Direction for me. Never has there been so many cringey lyrics packed into one song.

"The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine
    But I'll love them endlessly."

"You can't go to bed without a cup of tea
Maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep"

"You still have to squeeze into your jeans
    But you're perfect to me."

I can see the appeal of the song but it just makes me cringe so much! Not to mention how completely dreary it is, I have to change over every time it comes on :o

It sounds as if they just sat, wrote out some crap without changing/improving bits of it and recorded it just to say that they had a hand in writing something.
