Plasma and LCD TV's

Have you bought one recently ? I nearly did but at the lower end of the market e.g about £1,000. If you bought one in the same price range is it any good or are you dissapointed ?

I bought a Samsung 42" plasma made about two years ago and I have had nothing but problems withit. The problem is a continual 'buzzing' from the power supply at the back. They attempted to fix it on several occasions but it is still the same. Bought from Currys who were about as helpful as Samsung - don't touch either is my advice!!

    There's a £950 Hyundai one here : HYUNDAI HPTN4200S 42" *NICAM* SILVER .

I was under the impression that Hyundai had a pretty good post-sales service?

for £1500-1900you will get a panasonic which is top of thew range (th42pe50).

one of the top if not the top consumer screen.

much less and you will get what you pay for.
