Advice on Climbing plants......

I want to plant some climbers along my fence, for both privacy and color. I have just planted a star jasmine climber but was wondering about honeysuckle, fusia or clematis. The area is approx 6m wide and 2m high. I'm keen on honeysuckle, but have heard it can be very difficult to control.

Any advice appreciated.

I have a really boring wooden fence between me and next door and wanted to grow some climbing plants over it.

Have a look at this website

They have a great range of clematis plants. I wanted something that wouldn't need too much attention as I don't seem to have very green fingers. I picked plants that didn't grow too high and didn't need any pruning.

I got a clematis from that company a couple of weeks ago - I can thoroughly recommend them, the plant arrived on time, was well packaged and very, very healthy. It's been planted and is growing well.

I got the Avalanche clematis, it has lovely white flowers in Spring and has the added bonus of liking shade and being evergreen :)
