Ironically, the publicity will probably help Tough Enoughs fairly weak ratings.
To be fair Tough Enough's ratings haven't actually been that bad relative to the rest of the USA line-up. Last week it did a 0.4 in the demo. The following night Suits did a 0.6 and a Mr Robot (already renewed and a big new high profile drama for them) did a 0.5. Its not doing well by any stretch but its not the total disaster that has been made out.
It's better than anything that any of them are doing right now. I still think the weekly shows are suffering from a Shield shaped hole in terms of consistent quality matches every week. Well, a Shield and Daniel Bryan shaped hole.
I don't think the solution to that is a Shield reunion though.
So it looks as if that talk of them having no plans for Owens at SummerSlam was off base. I'll happily take Owens/Cesaro on the SummerSlam card even if I'm not sure either of them should be losing at SummerSlam. It might be worth them morphing that into a four corners match with Sheamus and Orton which at least gives them some more options. Maybe put Money in the Bank on the line as well...
I'm really not sure there's a good finish for this match. Nor am I entirely sure why they've booked it. This is like WCW booking. Here's our PPV main event on free television now please pay to see it again...
Not that Rollins going over would have been an especially great option either at this point. Really cannot understand why they went with this match tonight at all. Its ridiculously short sighted even by current WWE standards. It genuinely is the kind of idiocy that marked WCW. But this is the by product of the Network era I suppose.
I don't see the point of Cena VS Rollins at Summerslam.
I think its a really good strong title match for SummerSlam. And I really like the booking they've got underpinning it but putting them together tonight doesn't make a whole lot of sense especially not with the way they booked it. At this point Rollins now desperately needs Cena to do the job clean at SummerSlam. Although that was true before Raw this week anyway.

That's what Bubba The Love Sponge's wife said about Hulk.
Can we get a Cesaro run-in to save Orton from a double team beat down at the end of the match?
