Adam Ant (just post Ants) - vile
Paul Weller - amiable
Lenny Henry (pre-marriage) - just hilarious
Paul McCartney - never cared for him much before, despise him now
Kirsty McColl - totally delightful
Robbie Williams - bit hard to tell, he was totally off his face
Brian Blessed - very loud, and surprisingly short
Bobby Moore - no apparent personality
Francis Rossi - very blokey, very funny
Bill Bryson - as funny as his books, but very dry
No surprises here but one of my friends worked as a set designer on crap sitcom 'My Family'...
He said that Robert Lindsey was rude and arrogant whilst Zoe Wanamaker was lovely.
Have to admit that I've never heard a good thing about Robert!
I'm really surpised. I met Robert Lindsey many moons ago and he was so nice and friendly. I was a real fan at the time and my mum wrote to him on another occasion when he was performing at our local theatre telling him it was my birthday and he sent me a card which I stil have to this day! Maybe he has off days like all of us.
Was once in a restaurant with Oliver Reed (I don't mean at the same table) and he seemed, astonishingly, pissed out of his skull. At one point he stood up and dropped his trousers. His (very young) wife looked resigned, as if this was a frequent occurrence. Afterwards he went round and shook hands with everyone and signed autographs, in a way that was quite charming, if rather beery.
Eddie Izzard is lovely! Not having that. Ive met him he is adorable. You mustve caught him at a bad time.
I knew him for several years in the late 80's when he was an up and coming comedian doing tiny gigs in small venues like the Tramshed with acts like Julian Clary (now he is a nice bloke!) and Jo Brand. He also dated a friend of mine for a while. Not a nice guy.
from friends in the industry - here are a few insights:
John Nettles - great story teller
Robert Powell [Holby] Hilarious and very sweary
Jasper Carrott [who Powell did The Detectives with] bit of a t*sser
Alex Ferguson - absolute charmer
Rod Hull of Emu fame - lecherous
Alan Davies - class A wonker
Tony Robinson - Baldrick/Time Team - not as pleasant as he might at first seem
Phil Harding - Time Team - Shy but will have a pint and a chat with anyone.
They were at a nightclub and Jose in particular was horrible, was surprised he was out with the players actually. He told my friend to move from her seat as he wanted to sit there! He was nasty about it too but she moved as felt a bit intimidated by him. Two of the players in particular were very nasty, both midfielders (not Lampard). One is no longer at the club, the other still there. Almost all of them came across as being totally up themselves, they were rude and dismissive to the bar staff too.
Have no axe to grind with Chelsea by the way! Not a fan but don't hate them.
It's amazing what 50 -100 grand a week does to the ego, overpaid (and over here) chunts

Aww, Tony Robinson wasn't all cute and endearing like little Baldrick. Actually, though, Baldrick wasn't actually all that likeable in himself. He was rarely happy; had that grating monotone way of speaking, and was rather whiny. It was just the fact he amused you and you weren't having to have the exasperation of dealing personally with him that made you, as the viewer, like him.
Jesica Alba - interviewed by a friend of mine couple of years ago for Irish tv, was incredibly rude & condescending. It was before Ugg boots were everywhere & before the interview began my friend said 'oh your boots are gorgeous'. Alba just gave her a withering look and said 'who is this person? Does she know how to do an interview??'
Boyzone - met them in an Irish club, all horribly rude.
Geri Halliwell awful, was on a flight in front of me, just the rudest person to staff.
Bob Geldof - obnoxious and rude.

Possibly my least favourite form of rudeness is to bully staff who cannot answer back without losing their jobs.
Bob Geldof - obnoxious and rude.
Once saw Bob Geldof sitting on an armchair, bafflingly, in the middle of the (pedestrian) road at Camden Market. The crowds were obliged to part like the waters of the Red Sea and go round him. I thought it more bizarre than rude.
Jeremy Clarkson stayed at the hotel I worked at
and was a complete tit. Apart from speaking down to the staff and clicking his fingers for service at the bar he wound all the staff up that day including me but somebody I worked with decided to find his place sitting for evening dining and started to rub all the cutlery Jeremy would be using up and down his sweaty ass crack. Later on a load of us decided to watch him eating while smirking.
I was flying back from San Francisco to London and Graham Norton was having a right go at the Virgin check in people (who hadn't a clue who he was) trying to get his mum a free upgrade to biz class even though there were no seats available. Everyone within earshot just stared at him in shock and probably thought like I did that he was a complete tosser, really put me off him after that

Surprising. I have close friends who have met him and said he is pretty down to earth, friendly and good natured

Thats a shame, I've met him a few times in gay bars around London and he has always seemed nice and friendly.

Half the male population of Hollywood in the 1950's.
Joan Collins dosen't count, she's a moany old bitch in the spotlight as well as off.
the question should have been " has anyone had experience with Joan Collins PRE MENOPAUSE"
Nobody's that old
