For me, he's the best singer in the show at the moment and I say that even though I think Jahmene has a brilliant voice.
I'd love to see Jaymi do a solo performance and I have a feeling that if nothing happens for UnionJ after the show, he'll be back next year auditioning solo.
On a technical level, Jahmene. Very elastic range and the actual ability to control it. Many singers can belt so high but can't really control it, so it comes off very unstable ad pitch-y.
However, I love Jaymi's voice. Very commercial and he's good at running those belts off.
I'm so glad I'm not alone in thinking Jaymi has the stand out voice this year. I think he's one of the strongest male singers X Factor has probably ever had. He gives me chills every time.
