They do seem to be written very similar to Borg drones rather than independent thinking individuals as they were in Earthshock. I do think there should be a balance of both to make them more threatening.
Seriously it feels like the writers have a dislike for the Cybermen or something. :rolleyes:
I think the writers just can't figure out how to kill them in 40 minutes unless they cripple them with utter stupidity.
My only complaint was the "fast moving" cybermen looked ridiculous. I half-expected them to be chasing scantily clad women with Yakety Sax playing in the background.
