    Great actor.

Some Like it Hot - one of the best films ever.

    85 is a good age. I hope I make it to 85.

I loved him in the Vikings. "Yondah lies da kingdom of my faddah."

Top bloke who looked convincing in a dress. RIP Tone.

    He was fantastic wasn't he.

A true character and a true star.

And absolutely beautiful in his youth.

I only really liked him in Some Like it Hot, but he was still one of the major Hollywood characters. RIP.

Tony Curtis was a heart throb in the true sense of the saying. He took a higher place than all the popstars joined together, he had the looks that would melt any girl's heart he was a brilliant mimic (take Some Like it Hot and his Cary Grant impression), he could play any part whether it be tragedy or comedy, he was a Hollywood star and his likes will never be seen again.

His genius will live on through his numerous film and television appearances, he will never die as long as he's remembered and I will remember him.

Tony Curtis was an absolute legend, i loved him and the whole cast in Some like it hot. He was gorgeous back then too, or as one of my school mates used to say, he was scrumptious! RIP Tony. :(

Oh well, that's my mother's long term plans to marry him gone then.

A proper Hollywood legend - RIP Tony

He was a real character, and one of the few remaining genuine Hollywood stars.

I'm sure he wouldn't complain; he led one hell of a life in those 85 years.

Agree with everyone - RIP Tony Curtis

Loved The Persuaders on the TV ... his heart-throb years (well, to me anyway!)

Some Like It Hot - one of the best films of all time!

    WOW :(

He was one of my very first celebrity crushes. I adored him in The Persuaders.

I remember when I was at school there was a rumour one day that he was filming just round the corner and I was desperate to get out of class so that I could go down there and get his autograph.

He was, indeed, a legend
