Any experience with working for Allied Healthcare or Care UK?

Hi all, don't know whether this should be in GD or advice, but here goes. I am thinking of becoming a care assistant and was wondering if anyone here on DS have worked for either of them in the past? Thanks :)

    I don't have personal experience with either companies (although I've worked as a carer at two other companies for a period of around 4 years) but I have a friend I met through work who used to work for Allied (she's since worked for a number of other care companies) and she has always been very complimentary about her time at Allied and said they were a good company to work for. Of course, every branch will be different and it's really the luck of the draw when it comes to care companies as what they say on their website isn't always what really happens.
