I don't know - that Tiesto / Busta Rhymes one comes close as well. A few years back I did hear a Drum N Bass remix of This on a Random Shoutcast station I was listening to. That was cringeworthy.
Bringing it back on topic - The first show from Sandra Mosh on Sweden's P3 via their listen again app.
Gold UK (Capital Gold, Classic Gold) via Internet from beautiful downtown San Francisco, USA
Been an on and off listener since 2000 (?) when they had a very low bitrate stream. I would listen to any local stations here, but since the demise of station KFRC a couple of years ago, we don't have any 60's-80's station here. There are a couple on "HD Radio" secondary channels, but IBOC HD reception is a mess here in hilly San Francisco. And besides, I don't think they would ever play "Lay All Your Love On Me" by ABBA (or "The Visitors" -- a fav of mine).
BTW: We're expecting snow here tomorrow! Wow! Last snow was 35 years ago!
Storm FM banging out a great selection of hits on the way to Heathrow and Rapture Radio on the way back. The R Music playlist is a lot poppier than when I last tuned in but still sounded good.
Well I was listening to Big L,this afternoon and on their news, the US had just bombed North Vietnam, only 10 miles from the Chinese border...........................
oh sorry,it was on a reel to reel tape recorder I had going today,August 1967, the 13th I think..........:)
Between 11 AM and 3 PM I was listening to the Pulse on FM first then on DAB. Between 3 and 5 PM I was listening to BBC Radio Leeds on DAB, occasionally switching to BBC Radio Humberside on 95.9 FM.
MAR on 1314, then Feedback on R4, now it's bangin' dance music on City (Lee Butler I think - only just switched over). I'm too old for this stuff, sounds good though !
I listened to English language commentary on the second half of the crunch La Liga clash between Malaga v Almeria on Global Radio from the Costa Del Sol earlier, which they are allowed to stream online with no geoblocking.
Still got the stream up now, at full-time in the football they've switched to a dance mix - a show called The Nocturnal Groove - that Ian C might well enjoy.
