    I hate when soaps make kids unrealistically intelligent. Theres no way a 5 year old would have any idea what that was all about, least of all make the connection that that is her dad.

    She is cute though, bless her!

    The little girl is 4 or 5yrs old, and this is the first he knew about her existence, let alone that she was his child.

    He's always loved children, and when he and Donna were married they looked after some distant Dingle relative's children.
    So Donna knows he has always had a strong fatherly instinct.

    He's upset that he could have had some time with the little girl before now.
