I'm sorry, I've been meaning to thank Silversandy, Yungathart and few others for keeping this site going and for all the snippets.

I don't know what exactly it is, but ever since Katya was briefly partnered with Artem, and her subsequent comments about him, I find her irritating. Katya's replies to the questions, posted above, IMO, seems to make her very self assured. Sorry to any Katya fans.

I am waiting for the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games to start.

Still no tweets or Instagrams from Artem. I had a look at the questions for the US Naturalisation Test. I couldn't answer many of them. I hope Artem remembers the answers to the questions they ask him. How many questions can you answer?

    http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Office%20of%20Citizenship/Citizenship%20Resource%20Center%20Site/Publications/100q.pdf

There is also the English test. My niece had to sit one in the UK before she could work in Australia - unbelieveable.

I am going to see The Lion King tomorrow in Southampton. I guess an air conditioned theatre will be OK. Boy has it been hot today.

    Belated birthday greetings Lou69.

I thought Katya and Pasha's tour had finished. Maybe they are taking a leaf out of Brendan's book and advertising next year's tour. Pasha is currently choreographing routines for SYTYCD US with Anya before returning to join the pros of SCD. I seem to remember Katya being wafer thin.

Thank you gb17 for telling us about the new photos of Hannah Tointon. I see they are still flogging the story about Kara and her dinner date with Gregory Fitoussi.

In the picture of Katya with Pasha in my paper she still looks wafer thin, and has a very serious pout on her face. I did wonder why there was news about her tour , as I seem to remember that you had been to see it , so came to conclusion that they were planning another.

Thank you gb17, I think we have wanted to keep in touch with one another since meeting through being fans of our lovely guy , so any little bits of news connected to him or not ,in many cases have helped us to cope since we heard the terrible news he was not taking part this year , but in any case we are still Artemites so are still supporting him where ever he is . We sometimes dream things will happen sooner rather then later , but any little snippet about him does help .

We have the Daily Mail pouring out its usual rubbish about the Tointon family members and Artem , they cant even get the name of Hannah correct in the article, by calling her Kara , and then go back to calling her Hannah later on , that newspaper is dire , I was asked recently to start having it delivered on a reduced price , so guess what my answer was ?, I told them I wouldnt have it if it was free as it was an awful paper.

gb17 I agree with you and I also went off Katya after bringing up story about Artem as a partner, I also thought she never seemed that friendly with her partners , and was very pushy , unlike Pasha who rather like Artem never pushed to get into the limelight .

I hope you enjoy The Lion King , we thought it was marvelous when we saw it in Manchester, within seconds of it starting you dont notice the human being beneath the animal , and the music is quite haunting , my friend who had just been on Safari in Kenya shortly before said the sounds of Africa had been perfectly picked up in the music .

I will have a read of the test that Artem will have to wade through after watching the opening ceremony like you . I dont envy poor Artem as i think he speaks english easier than writing it.

Gosh I dont envy Artem having to write the correct answers , I would think that he could well know lots of the answers but knowing how to correctly spell all the names will be quite a challenge ,

I struggled with some of the questions and I was not familar with names of the officals in the gov at the current time .I was fine with the history parts and the Declaration of Independance atc, as I have looked into it as one of my husband's ancester's was part of the committee who drafted it and signed for Georgia , he is included on the famous John Trumbull painting of all the representatives with Benjamin Franklin as they wrote and signed it , his name was Button Gwinnett he had been collegiate educated in Gloucester and when he married he took his new wife to start a new life in the colony. The painting hangs in the Rotunda in Washington and is on the back of the US $2bill , because he is young he is shown with his dark hair unlike most of the others who are wearing wigs or have long curled grey hair . he did have a county named after him Gwinnett County ( which seems very strange ). his signature is very clear and any document with it on is worth a fortune as his died shortly after in a dual and so there are not many examples of his signature , sadly we dont have one , as in the US they are the second highest in value behind Julius Caesar .

maybe the reason we are not hearing anything from Artem is that he is busy studying ,he will have a quite a lot of reading to do bless him .

I hope that you have enjoyed your trip today silversandy , and it hasnt been too hot for you, its been 27deg here its very nice but too hot to do any work .

I hope you enjoy The Lion King Silversandy.

I hope that you have had a pleasant Fashion Show and it was not too hot .

ON the BBC Commonwealth gaames programme it was mentioned that there are quite a lot of special Scottish/Glasgow words that are very descriptive such as Skunnet and Glakid ( not sure if thats are how the are spelt ) and they were asking for people to send in others, as we might well hear them in conversations while the games are on .

I was thinking that we will be relying on you Lou to keep us abreast by telling us what these words might mean , you could become out official interpreter while the games are on , we might know what some words mean but I doubt it to be honest.;-);-)

Not sure either. Looks as though Kara has adjusted the tonal values. She has joined Instagram.

    Kara is socialising again -

I thoroughly enjoyed The Lion King. Completely forgot that the children have started the summer holidays. Not that any of them were naughty but I am sure it wasn't suitable for some of the younger ones. The ticket prices were expensive for the Mayflower.

Right Yungathart , here goes - Scunnered means basically 'fed up' and Glaikit means 'A bit thick'. Delighted to be able to help.
It is another roaster here today but it has to cool down a bit over the weekend.

So glad that you enjoyed the Lion King , but it saounds as if you and Artem have a common problem, he has tweeted a pic of himself on his way to New York on the plane and he says he is excited but the down side is that it takes 5hrs , and he has a 5year old next to him , he sounds rather worried , poor love !!.I understand he is going there to do some teaching.

Thanks for the translations Lou , thats agreat help .

Im glad that the shop was cool , for if its been anything like it has been here today , its been so very hot 29/30deg I went shopping earlymorning and then cut my small front lawn when I got home , after that I was done in and stayed indoors ever since ., just too much for me .

What a shame that we will not see you in any of the show clothes , were they for ladies of all ages , or just for the younger ladies?.

Im glad he has some work to do , perhaps its with some of his friends in their studios. he needs to be employed as he cant live on fresh air , and its would be such a shame if his talents are going to waste .

He is looking very handsome , but where is his tattoo , that is his right arm we can see , and the tattoo covers the top of his arm up to his shoulder normally ?.

I think Artem is going to be Scunnered then before he arrives in New York , if the 5year old is restless.;-)

Very Good Yungathart, you have used the word Scunnered in the correct sense. I love the photo of Artem, he looks very pensive.

Maybe we are seeing the reverse image. It doesn't look like a selfie. Still keeping my fingers crossed!!

Thanks Lou for explanation of words, thanks Silversandy for the link.

I couldn't see Artem's tattoo, but noticed his jacket buttons..maybe it is a reversed picture.

I'm also pleased that Artem's got some work before DWTS starts again. It will be interesting after our recent discussions, if he remains in the troupe, or is a pro, now Len's change of mind, and maybe Maks now not a judge, so will there still be a vacancy for a pro?

Iveta's studio is in NY, wonder if he's working for her?

Hope you are all coping with weather, been another very hot day in London..... 28deg forecast for tomorrow........won't be long before were moaning about how cold it is....

    Have a nice weekend everyone.

Yes he does look pensive Lou , I like to see him when he just for once he is not smiling .

I didnt think it was a selfie either siversandy , but you all may be right that it could be a reverse photo , I have been trying to do one but still cant do it other than through a looking glass. ha ha !!.

I have been surprised that Len seems to have gone back on his words about not doing DWTS this time , he was probably teasing us all , or done to cause an effect on the negotiations of salary ,but I have just seen a tweet that Len has now got a job for a travel company or programme , I did not click the link to read it though , as I wanted to join this thread before getting ready to go off to cricket on this glorious sunny day . but am a little worried that Maks hopes to be a judge which in turn could make it difficult for Artem to find a place as a pro may well be put on hold .:( How many jobs does Len want surely he should be slowing down , and spending what time he has spare to enjoy a relaxed time with his new wife.

I hope Artem is enjoying his spell in NY , its National Dance Day to day so maybe he is joining Iveta or some other friend in a studio while dance is being emphasized for a day or two , I hope that keeping my fingers crossed will be for a good reason too silversandy .

Bye for now , have agood day .

It looks as though Artem may be a guest dancer on Maks, Tony and Val's show Sway. He is sitting in the audience at the briefing. (According to twitter they are about to start part 2 of the matinee show).

Yungathart, the Show Clothes were a good wide range and there was some Gents things as well and some for the Children.
We are a lot cooler today and we have had some heavy rain this afternoon, however it will save going out with the hosepipe. Hope the good weather returns soon. I couldn,t see Artem at first sitting in the Audience then spotted him in the Check Shirt.

Something to look out for... Saw in today's papers, the episode of Lewis, with Kara, will be shown in September, no date given.

Also one definite signing for SCD is Mark Wright from TOWIE, and I'm a celebrity.....

Also just see on Sunday's newspaper review on Sky, front page news re Ola. She did give an interview this week re SCD, but there wasn't anything revealing in the article. So has she now upset someone?

That would be great if Artem could get a guest spot on one of the well known dancers' shows, since his stint on DWTS, he's got more much exposure then previous times in US.
