Seems like a classic Simon Cowell-style oh-my-god-they-think-i'm-gay-let's-leak-that-I'm-humping-the-entire-female-catering-staff sort of story to me.

My guess Maiden would be Matt + Aiden.
They have a pretty tight bromance, many on here suspect a little something extra.
Suspect = fantasise about - would be more accurate.

In all seriousness, I don't think anyone really believes Maiden are together, it's wishful thinking on the part of some and mutual admiration of the pair of them and their friendship on the part of most others. There aren't any genuine hints/rumours like there were about ~that~ relationship from last year.
Although maybe I'm naive? My gaydar normally never fails me:o
The point is, there are enormous rumours, and these sort of "leaked" stories stink of trying to dampen the flames.

Agree with this.. I feel like I'm back on an animé forum trying to act as if various yaoi couples are canon.. (ie. pretending male characters wanna get stuck into eachother because they think it's hawt.)

Why are men allowed to hug and kiss each other their football team wins, but outside that context everything is necessarily gay? They both may be gay or not, but is certainly not the fact they were super happy with Matt's victory that will give people some clues. Thank God, part of this new generation does not have the same complexes about looking "gay" as the older one.

What I saw was Matt almost weeping with delight at the prospect of being reunited with Aiden! Aiden reacted similarly!!

It's just society's way of adjusting to the fact it was something that could never even be talked about before, except in a derogatory way.

If they were gay, It would not both me in the slightest. But I really don't think they are.
