I did as well. She's been a refreshing tonic to this programme. Someone who obviously couldn't dance but, tried her best and up until those comments was always bright and bubbly. I actually thought I wouldn't like her but, she's really grown on me.
Well done Jessie. *applauds*
Applauds with you . I have no idea why, but I found that one of the saddest dance-offs ever. Obviously there's always sadness, but this one pulled at my heart strings.
unlike a lot of the women this year at least John looks like hes enjoying himself rather then being a nervous wreck and he makes me smile.
Obviously it'd be a travesty if he beat one of the top dogs like Austin, cherie or Rachel but i wouldnt mind him beating some of the "middle" folk.
Oh I'm not in a rush for John to go out - I loved his waltz and he brings something different to the show. Technically he's not as good as the rest of the girls though.

agree with you there but then again neither were kenny or Kate last year and look how far they got.
That AS was lovely but what is with the over exposure of V+F? They had the solo spot in the AS, they've done a showdance, they're always bloody on! Give some of the others a chance for once
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. I like them but let some of the others have a turn!
V&F are dancing to Alesha Dixon next week
Hmm. Looking at the thread, some of the comments are quite nasty, imo.
Undoubtedly, as on all threads. My point is that I do not find it noticeably nastier than any other SCD thread I've visited (including this one). Can't recall why I first visited, and it's a long and dense thread - but I confess that I've found parts of it very amusing. I ignore the things I disagree with.
On watching again I thought Heather's dance was quite weak.
I thought Heather danced better the first time. I don't think the negativity from the judges has done her confidence any good at all. However, I do think it was right that she stayed as overall she is the better dancer. That's what makes the dance off such a farce. Heather Small seems to be the competitor who is overlooked this year. Tess never interviews her, even when the leaderboard position put her in danger. I do feel for both couples and I agree with the poster who said this was the saddest dance off ever.

Its not just Vincent and Flavia dancing to Alesha. Matt, Ola, James, and possibly Darren and Lilia are as well. Personally i dont mind there being lots of Vincent and Flavia as i love watching them dance but i do agree they get more of the spotlight then other pros.
I like watching V&F too but the focus does seem to be on them more than anyone and it does get tiresome after a while. Personally, when the pros are dancing the American Smooth, if anyone's going to get the bulk of the solo/attention I'd rather it was Erin & Anton. Maybe they're trying to make it up to Flavia for her leaving week one? But then Anton left week two so...who knows?

Yeah, sorry, I didn't meant to imply it was just V&F. I just think they've been getting an awful lot of solo time so far, and as a D&L fan I feel a bit disappointed because D&L have yet to do a single solo performance.
I do like V&F but I'd quite like to see the others get their chance.
It was a shame any of the girls had to leave tonight, especially as there are weaker men left, however in these circumstances it was right that Jessie went. She was the weakest girl left.
I was so happy for Jodie, she clearly thought she was leaving. It seemed to take a while for it to sink in she was so surprised and Ian was so supportive towards her. I love this pairing. Really hope they can gain some confidence from tonight and improve
I did feel sorry for Jessie, but poor thing was the weakest dancer. She had a great attitude.
As for Jessies dresses.. They were totally vile.I think the wardrobe/costume type people are only used to dressing skinny minnies, and have no idea how to dress anyone who isnt a size 6.
They did the same thing to Letitia Dean last year, I've never seen anyone look more like Humpty Dumpty.
They should get some input from Gok or Susanna and Trinny!
I am facinated by Jessies forehead though. She has only the tiniest movement on either side of her eyebrows. I think perhaps over botoxed. It just looked strange.
Am I alone in thinking Camilla very cold fish? She sure can shake it, but there is as much sensuality in her as a wet haddock, compared to say Ola
No you are not alone, whereas Erin is cool & restrained but very likeable Camilla just comes accross as cold.
I went off her even more when she was prentending to fancy James Martin so she could stay in the competition longer.
I saw an interesting comment from a phsychologist about why Jennnifer Aniston became more popular than Courtney Cox and they attributed it to the physical angularity of courtney, maybe that's one of the problems with Camilla. It's not a "I hate her cos she's thin" more of a subconcious dislike of the sharp lines of her structure.

Nah.....I just thought good riddance.
I regret mentioning it in this thread, though.
I was like......oh s**t......thought it went a bit staggered ....still 'twas a gentlemanly gesture...........

OMG- sorry V&F fans but its been overkill so far this series- and tonight I was screaming at the cameraman that there were other couples on the floor!
Some of the other couples barely got a look-in:mad:
Pleased Heather and Brian were saved but I must admit Jessie did look so sad
Jodie and Ian are soooooo lovely- they looked so so surprised at getting through without a dance off:D

Depends on your definition of a slapper I suppose - I just find Camilla a bit of an ice queen
So what is your definition of a slapper ?
I do like V&F but I'd quite like to see the others get their chance.
None of the females pro or celeb, currently dancing on SCD - I suppose Jodie Marsh could justifiably fill that role
Oh good, I thought you were going to be mean .
Jodi Marsh - certainly.

She's on on Friday:D
brendan is really irritating now-he didnt deserve four 8's let alone anythig more yet he has to make comment about it
hes really ruining the show for me and im afraid i wouldnt want lisa to win if it has to be with him

Whatever the reason I don't like her.
